The newly established Soccer Tots programme kicked off this morning with 14 local youngsters aged 3-6 years old getting involved in the beautiful game!
The hour consisted of fun and engaging games for the youngsters which included King of the Ring, nutmeg challenges, Small Sided games and much more!
It also saw some of the current U14 Academy players getting involved with some coaching by helping the lead coaches with the organisation and running of the session, as well as supporting the children on a more 1 to 1 based focus! Thank you to the three U14’s who got involved.
Some feedback from parents following this mornings session...
“Thanks for letting Morgan join in last minute. He absolutely loved it! Well done to all involved.”
“Mason really enjoyed himself ? Great, fun session and well run ⚽️“
“My lad loved it, well organised and good fun for the kids!”
On behalf of the people overseeing the scheme, they commented saying: “We’re really pleased with the number of participants for our first session. The aim is to ensure this grows week on week and we can maintain these children starting off their love for football! We feel it’s key to provide something like this for the local community in ensuring kids have a pathway to keep playing the game as well as developing key football, life and social skills as well. There’s always a possibility some of these children could go on and play for the Mildenhall Town first-team!”
If you’d like to book your child on for next Saturday’s session, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register your child. Sessions are every Saturday morning from 10am - 11am and cost £3 per session.
